Whether in a busy supermarket or a small retail shop, touch screen cash registers inevitably accumulate dust, fingerprints, and other stains during use. Regular cleaning is essential, not only to improve the display quality but also to enhance the overall cleanliness of the store, leaving a positive impression on customers during the checkout process. UIPOS shares some effective methods for cleaning the screen of a touchscreen cash register, along with important precautions to consider:
1. First find a suitable cleaning tool. It is best to use a soft cleaning cloth, such as a microfiber cloth, and avoid using paper towels or sleeves to directly wipe the screen surface of the touch screen cash register to prevent scratches on the screen surface.
2. Buying a special screen cleaning liquid, or you can wipe the screen of the touch screen cash register with a microfiber cloth slightly moistened with warm water. Do not use alcohol or other corrosive cleaners to prevent damage to the surface of the touch screen cash register.
3. During the cleaning process, first turn off the power to prevent moisture from entering the machine and causing a short circuit. Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen surface. We can also wipe the back and bracket of the touch screen cash register.
4. Finally, use another clean and dry microfiber cloth to wipe the residual moisture.
UIPOS recommends that the screen be cleaned at least once a week. For large supermarkets and retail stores with large traffic, it can be cleaned every day before starting work. In addition, do not spray the cleaning liquid directly on the screen with a spray bottle for convenience. The practice may cause the liquid to penetrate into the body. Follow the above steps as much as possible.
